This little tutorial will explain how to connect to a Terminal Server, or to a Remote Desktop.

Step 1:
All ProgramsGoto start -> "All Programs"
AccessoriesThen -> "Accessories"


Communications
Now you can see "Remote Desktop Connection" icon that is what you are looking for, so select that.

**NOTE: If you have not ran windows update recently and updated "Remote Desktop Connection" to the latest version, then the "Remote Desktop Connection" icon will be located in "Communications" folder.


Once you select "Remote Desktop Connection" it will bring up the utility that you connect to the server with.

Step 2:
Once "Remote Desktop Connection" loads you will need to put in the address of the server.

Here is an example IP. You could also have a domain name instead of an IP, for exampe: mycomputer.dyndns.org

Once you input your IP or Domain Name hit "Connect"

Login
If you have ran windows update recently and updated the "Remote Desktop Client" you will be prompted with this window. If you have not updated the client then you will be connected to your computer and you will need to login from your regular computer screen. Input your credentials to log on. For example:
Username: Owner
Password: password

After you login you will be at your desktop and ready to go, remotly.
