Why keep Windows up to date?

Windows updates are vital in the security of your PC.  If you don’t do windows updates you’re more likely to get Worm viruses, and viruses that can be caught just by using internet explorer.

I would recommend doing windows updates manually at least once a month, and also whenever the windows update notification pops up next to the clock.

How do you find Windows update?

Too manually update windows go to and left click “Start” in the bottom right.

Next go to “All Programs”

Once inside “All Programs” you should see “Windows Update” at the very top, above “Accessories”

When you click “Windows Update” it will bring you to the Windows update web site, from there on it should be very user friendly.
